Bryncir Auction Centre Was established in November 2001, being one of the youngest Auctioneering companies in the country.
Based at Bryncir, North Wales, the auction site has a long tradition of agricultural livestock sales and North Wales land and property auctions, with the inaugural agricultural livestock sale being held on the site on the 19th March 1920.
The market was temporarily closed after the 2001 foot and mouth outbreak. This in turn caused the local farming community to act, and with the direction of both the National Farmers Union and the Farmers Union of Wales, Bryncir Auction Centre was created with the view to purchasing the original site with the first Auction being held on the 4th March 2002.
The Auctioneers employed to operate Bryncir Auction Centre are Lloyd Williams & Hughes who themselves are based at Bryncir.
Having gained vast and invaluable experience over the years the Directors Mr John Huw Hughes and John Lloyd Williams are very ably supported by Mr Iolo Ellis.
Bryncir and it's catchment area which covers the whole of Gwynedd, Anglesey and part of Meirionydd, can genuinely boast that the quality of stock on offer all year round are unrivalled with the majority of cattle sourced from renowned suckler herds with Charolais and Limousin being the main terminal sire.
Primestock is sourced from the early lambing area of the Llŷn peninsula to the mountains of Snowdon, giving an all year round
supply of stock.
